What Sets Our Dog Care Center Lake Oswego Apart

Club K-9 accepts only dogs that can pass a strict socialization evaluation. Every dog admitted to our dog care center Lake Oswego OR is grouped by size, temperament, and play style, so your Lab is not wrestling a Chihuahua and your shy rescue is not overwhelmed by the rowdy crowd. We have a spacious indoor play area for larger dogs and a completely separate romper room for small breeds. All play surfaces are rubber-floored to protect developing joints. Every area is cleaned daily with a nontoxic disinfectant that eliminates canine viruses without exposing your dog to harsh chemicals. Our staff is on the floor supervising every playgroup, every hour, with no exceptions.

Frequently Asked Questions About Day Care for Dogs in Lake Oswego, OR

Here are the questions we hear most often about our day care center for dogs Lake Oswego OR.

Does my dog have to pass an evaluation before starting daycare?

Yes. Every dog must complete a phone screening and an in-person evaluation before joining group play. Call (503) 684-0447 to get started. This step ensures that every dog in our care is well-socialized and a safe fit for the group.

Are small dogs kept separate from large dogs?

Yes. Club K-9 maintains a completely separate playroom for small dogs. Toy breeds, light-boned dogs, and long-backed breeds such as Miniature Dachshunds are kept away from the large-dog playroom regardless of personality. Safety comes first.

Why does Club K-9 have a naptime schedule?

Dogs play hard and need structured rest, just like children do. Without naptime, dogs become overtired and irritable, which leads to conflict. Our midday rest period keeps every dog calm, healthy, and in good spirits for the afternoon session.

Do you accept dogs on holidays?

Yes. Club K-9 is open 365 days a year, including all major holidays. Your dog always has a place to go.
